Ready in 3 easy steps, these delightful chocolate-hazelnut nests with colourful Easter eggs make the perfect edible decoration this Easter.
INGREDIENTS
- 200g hazelnut chocolate, roughly chopped
- 200 grams hazelnut chocolate, roughly chopped
- 2 tbs chocolate-hazelnut spread
- 2 tablespoon chocolate-hazelnut spread
- 1/3 cup shredded coconut
- 1 thirds cup shredded coconut
- 100g fried noodles
- 100 grams fried noodles
- 125g Cadbury mini milk chocolate easter eggs
- 125 grams Cadbury mini milk chocolate easter eggs
METHOD
- Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
- Place chocolate and spread in a heatproof, microwave-safe bowl. Microwave, uncovered, on medium for 1 minute, stirring after 30 seconds with a metal spoon, or until melted and smooth. Stir in coconut and noodles to coat.
- Using 2 tablespoonfuls of mixture at a time, spoon mixture onto tray to form ‘nests’. Using back of a spoon, make a small indention in centres. Fill indentations with chocolate eggs. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
- Serve.
